Dinghy Park re-organising starts!

Last weekend a the team of volunteers managed organised by our dinghy park ranger Jeremy Rapley set about re-organising the dinghy park. We started with the wayfarers and wanderers and will go on to the Lasers and others soon. Great care was taken in moving boats and water was bailed out where necessary. If you own a wayfarer or wanderer please come down to check your boat is tied down and propped up. Any boat that isn't marked will be moved to the marsh sin-sin so please do come down and ensure your boat is marked. The wording on many tags has disappeared with UV degradation.

Any boat that wasn't marked (as requested many times over the last weeks) was moved to the marsh sin-bin and will be disposed of in due course. Some of the removed ones can be seen in the pics below. If you recognise your boat and want to secure it let Jeremy Rapley know so we can help shift it back somewhere. You will need to have paid for a dinghy park slot - contact Sarah Mowbray if you haven't yet paid. One of the pics shows a new dinghy class of 'bike' - we're not sure who it belongs to but this needs to be removed please.

Many thanks to the volunteers - the cake and tea helped too so thanks to Helen Tyler for keeping us going!
