MRSC offers fantastic sailing for both adults and children of all ages. We are in an ideal location for beginners to first venture out onto the water and for those more experienced to explore the harbour and head out to the bay or join in the regular club racing or Open events.
Our racing program for both Fast and Mixed Handicap Fleets runs from the end of March to the end of the year. We are fortunate to have the largest fleet of Finn class in the country, and host an annual Finn Open meeting, as well as a Solo open meeting. The Mixed fleet is open to all classes of boats, whatever the handicap, and is designed to encourage more sailors to try their hand at racing.
We are also very fortunate to have a large Dinghy Park with plenty of room for boat storage. Please contact for more information Membership Team
We have a strong junior section offering both training, junior racing and social activities. As a registered RYA training centre, we offer RYA sailing courses throughout the year.
In the Summer months we have a few midweek Social Sailing events which are informal outings where members can go out safe in the knowledge that there is RIB support on hand. The bar will be open to enjoy a drink and chat after coming off the water. Members are encouraged to invite guests to these events it's an ideal opportunity for them to have a go.
For those who want to enjoy a short sail to some of the many beautiful places in the harbour and enjoy the company of other club members, the Harbour Explorers if for you. All classes of dinghies, cruisers, kayaks and SUPs are welcome to join in accompanied by a RIB and a club patrol boat.
