LADIES RACE TRIUMPH!
15 years after the last lady won the Adams Bowl trophy, we ran the Ladies and Junior Trophy race on Saturday 26th September. We had 13 competitors and although the morning started with light winds, it picked up enough to have a fantastic race. The photo was taken to replicate the photo when it was last won. Congratulations to Abbie Harrell for winning the race. We also ran some shorter races for our younger juniors. More »

Wayfarer Association rally to Bembridge
A fabulous Wayfarer Association rally (setting off from MRSC) to Bembridge last Saturday was a brilliant affair! Our thanks go to Gemma at Bembridge Sailing Club for making Association and MRSC members very welcome, and all who helped organise such a fantastic day. We even had an MRSC Wanderer and Scow sail over too. This is the last of the season but hopefully more of these cross-Solent rallies will follow next year. More »

Rowing at MRSC
Over the last few months, the rowers at the club have enjoyed a variety of outings when the weather and tide have been favourable. These have been mainly social rows but we have run a few endurance rows for the more experienced rowers. We have also run some taster sessions. JUNIOR RACE WEEK - Wow, what a week!
Junior week was once again a huge success on and off the water. We welcomed 77 sailors, with 40 from visiting clubs, and the amazing weather gave us perfect conditions for our 4 fleets to learn and race. The fun continued off the water, especially with our Mengeham Challenge and the ever popular Thursday night disco... enjoyed by all!
