Informal Support Boat Theory

Ashore on Saturday 14th March from 13.00 to 16.00
This is an informal teach in to basic Safety Boat discipline. It will be a shore based session with the opportunity to ask questions. Aimed at all MRSC Safety boat crews and potential Power Boat Level 2 and Safety boat crews, ie including Junior parents who want to learn how to be more useful going afloat.

- Anything you want to ask about safety boats at Mengeham
- What's required to be useful in a Safety Boat
- Things to ware/bring
- Using a Radio
- What to do when your in the Safety Boat
- Positioning the Safety Boats for supporting the different activities afloat
- What covered in RYA Level 2 Power Boat Course
- What covered in RYA Safety Boat Course
- Opportunities to have a teach in for Club boats, Margorie, Patsey, Commando's (Ashore)
- Feedback from Junior learners on Lessons learnt from last years events on the water
