CCRC dinner at MRSC - MRSC members welcome

Hi All,

It is that time of the year again where the CCRC (Chichester Cruiser Racing Club) comes together for Prize giving, and a dinner. As is traditional we are inviting our fellow sailors and our Local sailing clubs to come. 6pm 7th November to Mengeham &Rythe SC.

This year will be particularly good, as we have arranged a special entertainer, historian and speaker to give us all a little taste of life in the Navy 1805 style. The theme will be "Master and Commander" it will be a 1 hour after dinner thing.

To those of willing to get in to the spirit of the occasion the dress code is optional. However, I am arranging multiple costume hire. So l do let me know if you need the details separately. The company I have selected, which does period costume on a huge scale, lending to both film companies, and sailing clubs! Suffice it to say many of us will be dressing as Nelson's Officers or as Elizabeth Swan etc.

For those that don't use the dress code no worries. Then you will be classed as Ordinary / or Able Seaman. And if you can wear a plain white flax or cotton tee shirts it would be preferred.

Please invite friends, colleagues and fellow sailors this will be an evening to remember. Prizes for the best dressed: Deck Hand, Elizabeth Swan / Lady Hamilton and Russel Crow will be awarded. (Two films same time period)

Please use the booking and payment link.
