Morning Row

Saturday the 4th of February saw a busy morning for Rowing at Mengeham. Despite a fairly low tide and high pressure we manged to get Nerthek out for a short Row , she was recovered to her road trailer ready for annual maintenance and we hope to have her back on the water by the beginning of March. This does mean that there are no scheduled rows for this month . We will be looking for people to join in with maintenance tasks and we will try and keep people updated on this on the group whattsapp.
We also welcomed rowers from Langstone Cutters who stopped of at our Club mid row for tea and cake. Twenty seven people from Langstone arrived in six boats including Two Solent Galleys and a Celtic Longboat and enjoyed our hopsitality for about an hour before their row back against the tide. Thankyou to Carol Carter for organising tea and Cake Logistics and for our Giggers for joining in and helping out.
