A lovely surprise for our rowers...

As a small thank you for allowing the Navy Gig rowers to occasionally launch from the club during refurbishment of their boathouse, our rowers found a lovely surprise on Saturday... a very smart, comfy set of seat cushions for our gig 'Nerthek'. The Navy team have been wonderfully supportive to our fledgling rowing section - helping with training sessions, lending us a set of oars, as one of ours has a split and is awaiting repair. They have even have offered to lend us one of their gigs when Nerthek comes off the water for maintenance. It means that we will be able to keep rowing throughout the winter. A very big thank you!
