Shrimper Cruise 20th to 24th August 2007
Chris Sharland organised a mini cruise around the Harbour  for Cornish Shrimpers. Eleven boats met at Northney Marina on Monday 20th August despite the strong northerly wind. There were three boats from MRSC (Chris Sharland, John Nicholson, and Bryn & Janet Jones), one boat came from Lymington, one from Buckler's Hard and the others were from Chichester Marina, Bosham and Emsworth sailing clubs.

The Shrimper sailors had a barbeque at Northney Marina on the Monday evening and sailed down the Emsworth channel the following day with force 5/6 northerly. Most of the fleet went on to Chicester Marina for lunch and then the Shrimpers sailed to MRSC where they had a fish or chicken with chips supper followed by a delicious sweet and they were suitably entertained by Eric Palmer.

This is the first time that the Shrimpers have visited MRSC and they moored up alongside the pontoon. Chris had organised some sailing for the Wednesday, but the force 6/7 gusting 8 northerly meant that the fleet could not leave for their own clubs until Thursday morning.
