MRSC OPEN DAY 2026 - June 6th
Join us for a warm Mengeham welcome where you can chat to members and experience taster sessions in Sailing, Rowing, Radio Sailing, Kayaks and Paddleboards. Then relax with a drink on the balcony, soaking up panoramic views across Chichester Harbour. Once described as "the best kept secret in Chichester Harbour", Mengeham Rythe Sailing Club is a friendly club of families, sport, and sailing tradition giving so much to the community for over 75 years.

The Rowans 27th Charity race! June 14th
Please do join us for some great racing in the Harbour and to support this wonderful charity. There are starts for Fast, Mixed, Slow Handicap fleets and a Junior Start. The start is at 1045 in Chichester Harbour area of Pilsey Sands and Committee Boat finish. Entry fee is a donation to Rowans of £10 for Adults and £5 for Juniors, plus anything extra you feel you can add to help this amazing local charity.

MRSC Junior Race Week - sign up 22 May!
The sign up for members will is open from Fri 22 May (1800) for our wonderful MRSC Junior Race Week 2026. It will be fully open for others on 8 Jun (1800). It's a great event starting on 27 Jul through to 31 Jul. Dinghy Park re-organising starts!
Last weekend a the team of volunteers managed organised by our dinghy park ranger Jeremy Rapley set about re-organising the dinghy park. We started with the wayfarers and wanderers and will go on to the Lasers and others soon. Great care was taken in moving boats and water was bailed out where necessary. Eggcellent Easter Race!
Last weekend the winds were not too kind but Easter Monday saw the Easter Egg Race get off to a flying start. We had a good number of entrants with Joe and Hugh Stallard 1st in a laser 2000, 2nd Robert Bridges, 3rd Roger and Ali Kent. The results can be found HERE . Good Friday's races were blown out. St Patricks Night a great 'craic'!
Thank you to everyone who supported the quiz last weekend. It was very well attended. We had 8 teams of 6, with Ian Harris's team the winners. A big thank you to Sharon who cooked a delicious Irish Stew and a Seafood Chowder. Lee Baker made cocktails and Patrick Whitfield the Quizmaster. A great 'craic' was had by all!

'Clear the Cobwebs' Practice Race - Mar 21st
Our first race of the season gets under way on March 21st. Time to get the covers off and clean up your dinghies in readiness. Its a club start/club finish and there's a pre-race talk from Graeme Macdonald to start you up for any who are quite new to racing or a reminder to those coming back to it. Wayfarer Mengeham Series - Summer 2025
