The cruiser fleet organised the annual lift-in on Saturday 21st April. Perfect weather conditions, team work and strict safety operations made it a successful day with 48 sailing and motor boats being lifted in on the mid afternoon tide.  The workers were well fed throughout the day by the "Galley Girls"  who served bacon sandwiches, "hot dogs", tea, coffee, chocolate cake and cheese sandwiches. One member was heard to comment - "We only have a cruiser so that we can enjoy the food at lift-in". The cruiser section has a busy programme of rallies with the first "Shake down" cruise to Chichester on Saturday 28th April.
