| The
race involved seamanship and sailing. The first round was a club
start and a course across West Mud and back to the club finish
line. For round 2 the boats were at anchor with main sails down
and the sails and anchors were raised at the start. The boats
sailed to a mark, dropped the sails, rowed to another mark,
raised the sails and sailed back to the club. Round 3 involved
picking up a stowaway, recovering a man overboard (not the
stowaway) sailing round a mark, dropping off the stowaway and
crossing the line. Three boats took part in light winds. |
