| Chichester & Bosham Rally - Easter 2011 |

The Chichester Rally surpassed itself this year. Lots of new cruisers and the weather was superb. We had 21 boats in the Marina and 50 people enjoyed the good food and company at the Chi Sailing Club. I believe this to be a record. The new contingency said they really enjoyed rallying and would do it whenever they could. Result!! Seven boats went on to Bosham and as always we had a great time there as well. All the Clubs and marinas involved were thanked for their assistance. Lee Woolf |

| Median Rally - June 2011 |
| More than 30 MRSC members and about 17 MRSC boats cruised up the Medina to Newport to enjoy the buzz of the Isle of Wight festival. It was a great turnout, considering the poor forecast [unsettled, to put it in weatherman terms]. Those that had to leave on Sunday had a rough return, in winds starting off as Force 4, building to Force 8, with torrential rain during the afternoon. The festival goers really needed their wellies! Monday was a great day for the majority to sail home, many stopping off at East Head for a final party before the evening tide took them back to Mengeham. |
