2009 Cruiser Bay
Race - Saturday 18th April
The weather was cold at the start,
warming to 12 - 15 degrees as the day progressed with some sunny
patches. The wind was northerly F2- F4 variable. The race was
started by Graeme Macdonald from the committee boat (Patsy) and
it finished at West Pole by competitors self timing as they
rounded the mark onto a Northerly heading for entry into the
harbour. After the race, crews assembled at East Head for
a general wind down with beer and sandwiches while waiting for
the tide to come in for return to the club.

2008 Cruising logs
To give recognition
to members who have managed to get out there and go cruising -
either in local waters, or somewhat further a field cruiser
members were invited to submit their cruising logs.. The
entries shown are not necessary the winners of the Log or
Skipper's Trophy, but they have managed to capture in their
writing what sailing is all about and what can be achieved, even
in the time pressured, tumultuous world we now live in. Just as
importantly, the Logs demonstrate the wide age range and crew
makeup of our cruising section.
