The club holds a number of open events during the year including a well supported week long junior regatta. |
| As a self help club, MRSC relies on members undertaking duties to help run the sailing and social events and maintaining the club, moorings and its surrounding land. A group of the older retired members has evolved, affectionally called "the wrinklies", who meet most Monday mornings and undertake projects around the club including managing the 11 acres of marsh land owned by the club which has been designated a Site of Scientific interest. |
