Seven of the MRSC Finn Fleet attended the Masters' World Championship in Medemblick, Holland. In a fleet of 230 boats, Adrian Brunton did especially well coming 24th and recording a 1st and a 2nd - a better last race would have put him in the top ten. Julian C  Smith, in his first season, posted a very creditable 53rd and Richard Hart found real speed later in the regatta to finish 77th recording an 18th and 20th. Five out of the seven MRSC entries made the cut for the Gold Fleet.
